Initially conceived in 2005 – My Beautiful Game was originally intended to be a Football Reality Show. During the two years of pitching production houses and potential sponsors – the treatment evolved into a pan-African documentary series.

The producers have elected to move away from the magazine show, presenter format, creating a show that strives for exceptionally high production value combined with current, relevant and inspiring content.

My Beautiful Game is designed to get people talking and provoke rich discussion all over the continent. We believe that of all the things that Africans are passionate about, it is football that has the greatest hold of our hearts and minds. My Beautiful Game is about unlocking, exploring and exposing the spirit of African Football – and of course, enjoying it!
